Kenyatta Hospital, KICC Announce 55 Job Vacancies

(Nairobi) – Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) and the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) have announced the availability of 55 job opportunities across various sectors. These positions aim to fill key roles in medical and administrative departments, offering a wide range of opportunities for qualified candidates.

KNH’s advertised positions include roles for Medical Specialists in various fields such as Obstetrics and Gynecology, Radiology, Pediatric Surgery, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, and more. The hospital also seeks specialists in Nephrology, Orthopedics, Urology, Endocrinology, Pain & Palliative care, Pathology, and other medical areas. Additionally, there are managerial roles in Human Resource, Risk Management, Finance, ICT, and quality assurance.

The hospital has outlined clear instructions for applicants. Interested candidates are required to download and fill in the qualifications form available on the KNH website. Along with the application form, candidates must submit a CV detailing their qualifications, experience, and responsibilities. Copies of relevant testimonials and certificates should also be included in the application, which must be submitted at the KNH center registry by December 3, 2024.

Successful candidates will be asked to provide additional documentation, including a certificate of good conduct, clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), credit reference bureau clearance, HELB compliance, and KRA tax compliance.

Meanwhile, KICC has advertised job openings for senior managerial and technical roles such as Executive Personal Assistant, Security Service Manager, Housekeeping Manager, Director of Corporate Services, and Manager of Human Resources and Administration. Other positions include Manager for Information and Communication Technology, Legal and Regulatory Affairs, and Director of Operations.

KICC also requires applicants to submit several compliance documents, including the Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI), KRA Tax Compliance, HELB clearance, EACC, and Credit Reference Bureau certificates.

The KICC roles, which are categorized under job grades KICC 2 and KICC 3, will be offered on a five-year renewable contract, based on performance. Applications for these positions should be submitted by December 2, 2024.
