Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa confirmed that one person had lost their life while 28 others had been rescued from the rubble. The Prime Minister expressed optimism, citing ongoing communication with individuals still trapped under the debris. “One survivor assured us that more people are still below. We will proceed cautiously and strategically to save them,” he said.
