News reaching our grapevine indicates that Ronald Amanyire, the Principal Road Safety Officer at the Ministry of Works and Transport in Uganda, has been dumped by his teenage lover, Kamanzi Shadia.
Mr. Amanyire, who identifies as being from Bunyoro but is reportedly from Kanungu District, is said to be experiencing emotional distress following the separation. It is alleged that Mr. Amanyire had a romantic relationship with Ms. Kamanzi, which resulted in her becoming pregnant and discontinuing her education.
Sources claim that Mr. Amanyire subsequently arranged for Ms. Kamanzi to undergo an abortion at a hospital in Kampala.
Allegations have also surfaced regarding Mr. Amanyire’s financial conduct. He is reportedly facing significant debt, having borrowed substantial sums of money from colleagues. These funds were allegedly used to provide Ms. Kamanzi with various luxuries, including trips.
Colleagues who have requested repayment of these loans have reportedly been met with resistance and threats. Mr. Amanyire is now reportedly asking for loans from lower-ranking staff members to meet his financial obligations.
The relationship reportedly deteriorated after Mr. Amanyire failed to fulfill promises made to Ms. Kamanzi on Valentine’s Day.
Mr. Amanyire is also said to be experiencing difficulties with a financial associate, Muhangi Andrew. Additionally, he allegedly threatened a junior staff member who requested repayment of a loan of UGX 300,000, stating that the staff member would not be promoted if they pursued the debt or that they could pay UGX 1,000,000 for a promotion. Mr. Amanyire is now reportedly using public transportation due to his personal vehicle being impounded.
The situation has raised concerns regarding Mr. Amanyire’s financial stability and its potential impact on his professional conduct.
